The Partially Absorbable Coated Surgical Mesh is a sterile, partially absorbable, skirted device designed for the repair of hernias and other fascial defects. The implant device consists of a coarse-pored mesh knitted from polypropylene and polydioxanone threads and bonded in layers with absorbable Poliglecaprone 25 films. The perimeter edges are pre-crimped to form a fixing skirt. Absorbable, dyed polydioxanone yarns form a bond between the absorbable Poliglecaprone 25 film and the non-absorbable polypropylene mesh component. Absorbable, dyed polydioxanone yarns form a bond between the absorbable Poliglecaprone 25 film and the non-absorbable polypropylene mesh component. Additional absorbable, dyed polydioxanone yarn is sewn onto the mesh as an orientation marker.

Detailed specifications

The Partially Absorbable Flexible Composite Mesh Device is a sterile, partially absorbable device designed for the repair of hernias and other fascial defects.

Meshes used after abdominal hernia surgery ensure that the operation is effective and long-lasting. A partially Absorbable Flexible Composite Mesh Device is easily positioned and fixed to the treated area thanks to its special design. Thanks to the transparent nets and colored lines in its structure, it does not affect the appearance of the internal organs and supports easy use. This product, which is used in most hernia surgeries, has been developed with the assurance of INVAMED and the latest technology.

  • Inguinal (groin) hernia,
  • Umbilical (umbilical) hernia,
  • Incisional hernia and
  • femoral hernia

The Partially Absorbable Flexible Composite Mesh Device consists of a coarse porous mesh knitted from polypropylene and polydioxanone yarns and bonded in layers with an absorbable polyglecapron 25 films. Absorbable, dyed polydioxanone yarns form a bond between the absorbable polyglecapron 25 film and the non-absorbable polypropylene mesh component. Additional absorbable, dyed polydioxanone yarn is sewn onto the mesh as an orientation marker. The polydioxanone polymer is identical to the polymer used in the (polydioxanone) suture. After the absorption of the absorbable components, only the polypropylene mesh remains. The polymer of polypropylene fibers is the same material used for dyed/undyed Suture.

  • Provides longer-lasting support during and after wound healing
  • Due to its double-sidedness, undesirable adhesion is not observed.
  • There are 25 layers of a polyglekapron in layers.
  • It is recommended to use a Fixation Device, staples, or sutures for secure fixation.
  • Absorbable ingredients are absorbed within 6 months
  • The polypropylene material remains unabsorbed.
  • Excessive connective tissue formation and harmful wound formation are prevented.
  • Thanks to its stretching feature, it can move in harmony with the body.
  • It does not leave any parts from the edges when used in the desired size and shape.
  • The soft edge structure does not damage the tissues.
  • It is suitable for laparoscopic use.
  • It can be applied easily by passing through the trocar when deemed necessary. It has colored lines to increase visibility in use.
