Guide Catheters provide an interventional route through which medical devices such as balloon dilation catheters, guide wires, or other therapeutic devices can be inserted. These devices are not intended for use in the cerebral vasculature. Guide Catheters are intended for use in general intravenous and peripheral applications and use in coronary applications. With its metal-braided structure, it provides support by advancing the manipulation to the tip. It has a wide lumen and non-traumatic, rounded, distal end structure. It has a surface that provides ease of entry and a suitable hardness that prevents bending. It is advanced over the guide wire and is offered in different types and different diameters as a straight tip, right curved, and left curved according to the purpose of use.

Detailed specifications

The AngioCATHGuided Catheter is a Guide Catheter with a Unique hydrophilic coating, outstanding torque control, and excellent shape retention. It offers smooth transmission with less friction and more staying power, making it the natural choice whenever you go the femoral or radial route.

  • 90 & 120 cm catheter length for easy navigation to the target vessel via the radial artery
  • Winged polycarbonate hub for easy manipulation
  • Wire braided for torque, stability, and control
  • Shaft material provides thermal stability at body temperature
  • Large inner lumens to facilitate contrast injection
  • The soft bumper tip provides atraumatic positioning within the vessel ostium
  • Workhorse construction suitable for various anatomies
  • The flexible distal segment enables you to engage for backup support
  • The supportive secondary curve for backup support and curve retention
  • Thinner walls without compromising support
  • Larger lumens to maximize contrast flow for enhanced visualization
  • Radiopaque marker and PTFE-nylon shaft
