SteerCATHⓇ catheter is specifically designed to navigate complex and tortuous vascular structures for minimally invasive surgery with a physician-controlled mechanism. The device is guided by the clinician using the handle (proximal tip), optimising the response of the steerable portion of the catheter (tip) to provide precise control and torque response. It gives the physician the ability to guide catheters to a target location in the body. The SteerCath has multiple steering options, including unidirectional steering, bidirectional steering (bidirectional catheters), four-directional steering and multi-directional steering (commonly referred to as multi-directional catheters or multi-plane deflection).
