Atlas is a coronary balloon-expandable Stainless Steel stent system consisting of sirolimus particles. It is indicated for de novo and in-stent restenotic lesions in patients with coronary artery disease – including acute coronary syndrome acute myocardial infarction or unstable angina and/or concomitant diabetes mellitus – to improve luminal diameter and reduce restenosis within the stent and at the stent edges in native coronary arteries

Sirolimus was composed of a white to off-white crystalline powder with the empiric formula C51H79NO13 and its Molecular weight of 914.172 g/mol. It is insoluble in water and at approximately 95.0 – 110.0°C. it melts too. Polymer layers release sirolimus in a time-controlled process (ending in 8 weeks) that slowly biodegrades, preventing neointima formation in the stent. In patients with symptomatic cardiovascular disease-causing srestenosis or de novo atherosclerosis in the heart vessels measuring 2.00-5.0 mm, § Indicated in the treatment of acute or in patients at risk of cardiac occlusion after failed angioplasty balloon (PTCA) therapy of 2.00 to 5.0 heart vessels.

Atlas Coronary balloon-expandable stent system consisting of sirolimus and a biodegradable polymer. Indicated for de novo and intra-stent restenotic lesions in patients with coronary artery disease - including acute coronary syndrome, acute myocardial infarction, or unstable angina and/or concomitant diabetes mellitus - to improve luminal diameter and reduce restenosis in and in the stent. It is suitable for both femoral and radial intervention.

 It is effective in occlusions in natural coronary arteries, de novo chronic total coronary occlusions, and improving coronary artery lumen diameter in patients.

 The stent system is designed for reference vessel diameters from 2.00 mm to ≤ 5.00 mm, and

Atlas stent system easily adapts its shape to the arterial wall and does not dislocate itself after deployment. The elasticity of the stent as well as the flexibility of the delivery system allows the use of Atlas even in tortuous vessels.

The stent system is indicated reference vessel diameters of ≥ 2.25 mm to ≤ 4.25 mm and a lesion length of ≤ 27 mm

Even if the stent is overexpanded, the polymer cracks as a gradient to reduce the risk of delamination drug coating applied.
